Human Resource Manager with mining industry background

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ob Description: 
Our client, with operations in Gauteng (Sandton), is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with a background in the mining industry to join their team.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the entire human resources function.
  • Drive optimization, attraction, retention and development of employees.
  • Manage employee relations and union relationships.
  • Ensure compliance to legal, statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Compile and carry out the annual staffing plan.
  • Ensure that internal processes and supply chain are optimized.
  • Management of the ERP system relevant to the Human Resources function.
  • Mentoring and training subordinates.

 
Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or similar qualification.
  • Honours Degree advantageous.
  • Matric Certificate.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 5 or more years previous experience in Human Resources Management within the mining industry.
  • Well-versed in ERP systems in relation to the Human Resources function.
  • Candidate must preferrably be a BLACK MALE
