SUMMARY:
Human Capital Business Partner - Johannesburg

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS:

ØA degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent qualification.
ØMAP or similar Management Development Programme will be advantageous.
ØLabour Law experience is essential.
ØUnderstanding of Change Processes.
ØUnderstanding of Performance Management and improvement processes.
ØHuman Resources Information Systems understanding.
ØMinimum 3 -5 years’ experience in a similar HR role(s).
ØBasic Project Management skills.
ØKnowledge of BCEA, Employment Equity, Labour Relations Act and Skills Development Acts.
ØKnowledge of career development methodologies.
ØWilling to travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ØAdvising, coaching and supporting line managers and employees on the full range of HR functions and services.
ØUndertaking specific projects, in consultation with line management, to facilitate HR activities and enhance client service.
ØProviding timeous and relevant HR management information.
ØDelivery on staffing sourcing.
ØImplementation of the full performance management cycle in the business unit/department.
ØDriving the values and creation of a great working environment at business unit/departmental level.
ØHelp identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes.
ØImplement Human Resources Policies and Procedures (Employee Relations, Recruitment & Selection) at business unit/departmental level.
ØHandle employee relations/dispute resolutions in areas of responsibility including CCMA/Labour court matters.
ØResponsible for execution of all people processes in the employment and business cycle, in line with policy and legislation - recruitment, psychometric assessments, induction, L&D, EE planning, retention, career management, reward etc.
ØSupport line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the business unit/department’s strategy.
ØFacilitate line of sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda.
ØFacilitate and promote employee engagement and feedback, in line with the company’s vision to be employer of choice.
ØProvide expert advice and coaching to employees where appropriate.
ØHR Reporting.  Identify and Implement change interventions.
