SUMMARY:
Human Capital Business Partner

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

vResponsible for full range of human resource activities to include talent management and organisational development, benefits, administration, employee relations, training and development;
vBuilding strategic partnerships and aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units;
vProviding a consultation and advisory function to management on human resource related issues and assessing and anticipating HR-related needs;
vGiving input on the Employment Equity and BBBEE reports and participating in the BBBEE verification processes;
vManaging job grading process as well as  advising and assisting business units in the process (including job profiles, job descriptions and organograms);
vOrganising and planning all training for the (Company) group and managing the training and development team, which includes the compilation and management of the annual training budget;
vAnnual training and development reporting (WSP/ATR) and communication with relevant SETA''s for grant applications, mandatory and discretionary grants;
vAssisting line management in identifying departmental needs for training/team performance, low overall performance and interventions;
vManagement of study assistance, graduates, learnerships, internships and apprentices;
vCoaching, mentoring, and developing staff, including overseeing new employees on boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities according to the department''s training focus areas, the individual''s development plan and company strategic focused training initiatives.
vProviding day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions, and demotions.);
vSuccession planning and talent matrixes;
vPsychometric assessments, feedback and reporting; and
vAny relevant administration processes or ad hoc projects as required.

 

Minimum Requirements:

vTertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Administration and/or Industrial Psychology, or related field;
vPost graduate degree in Industrial Psychology;
vProfessional registration as Psychometrist and/or Industrial Psychologist at HPCSA;
vRegistration as a generalist with the SABPP will be advantageous;
vA minimum of 3 years'' experience in a HR generalist role required, and experience in training and development (especially WSP/ATR, experience in SETA''s);
vExperience in SAGE 300 system preferred.
