SUMMARY:
Housing Officer - Pietermaritzburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join their dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

Manage the first contact of prospective buyer
Control the waiting list
Conduct external and internal resales
Co-ordinate the refurbishment of the units
Administrative duties relevant to the position including analysis of housing trends

Requirements:

Matric. Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area is a bonus
Advantageous to have a property practitioner’s qualification
Valid unendorsed driver’s license
Experience in administration and if in the field of resales / estate agency / property management is an advantage
Show integrity with regard to handling all aspects of the resales
Must be able to plan work and meet deadlines
Compile factual reports
Able to revise pro-forma addendums to the sales agreement
Ability to establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers, buyers, sellers and colleagues
Proficiency in MS Office
