Housekeeper

5 star Camps Bay Beachfront Hotel seeks a Receptionist on a CONTRACT basis for the busy season ahead.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Previous experience in the same or similar position
• Familiar with duties and procedures in the Housekeeping Department

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean all rooms when cleaning units, lounges, restrooms, kitchen, bedrooms
• Clean public areas like corridors, courtyards, balconies, stairways, locker rooms
• Ensure that health, safety and hygiene standards need to be met in all areas
• Empty waste baskets and clean ashtrays
• Transport other trash and waste to disposal areas and place in bins
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner/machine
• Wash windows, wall, ceilings, woodworks. Wax and polish if necessary
• Hang draperies and dust windows blinds
