JOB DESCRIPTION:

5 star Camps Bay Beachfront Hotel seeks a Receptionist on a CONTRACT basis for the busy season ahead.

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Previous experience in the same or similar position
Familiar with duties and procedures in the Housekeeping Department

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clean all rooms when cleaning units, lounges, restrooms, kitchen, bedrooms
Clean public areas like corridors, courtyards, balconies, stairways, locker rooms
Ensure that health, safety and hygiene standards need to be met in all areas
Empty waste baskets and clean ashtrays
Transport other trash and waste to disposal areas and place in bins
Dust and polish furniture and equipment
Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner/machine
Wash windows, wall, ceilings, woodworks. Wax and polish if necessary
Hang draperies and dust windows blinds
