House Manager (JB584)

Location: Kyalami, Midrand

Salary: R20 000 per month

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 and Saturdays 08:00 - 14:00

Private home, based in Kyalami, Johannesburg is seeking a House Manager to replace their current staff member who after many years with the family, has retired.   You would be responsible for managing the household, dinner parties, events, staff and prepare daily health-conscious meals.   With a large property, multiple staff and three dogs (who will follow you around all day), you would become a part of this busy home.

Must be non-smoking

Valid drivers license

Must be an all-rounder and able to make decisions

Must love dogs, as they have two large breeds and a small one who are treated like kids.

Must have great knowledge of healthy foods, carb content and organic foods, including prepping meals for a vegetarian.

Basic Excel knowledge as the candidate will need to reconcile all spending on a weekly basis, email it to the owner and keep a very strict budget.

Family provides staff with the opportunity to study further in line with their role within the home.
