SUMMARY:
Durban based luxury hotel requires a Security and Risk Manager to oversee all aspects of security and risk management, maintaining a safe and legally compliant environment for their hotel operations.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

• Matric
• Certification in security management, risk management, or related fields
• Min 4 years security management
• Experience within the hospitality industry
• Fleet management experience
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform security-related duties as required
• MS Office

• Critical member of the Hotel's management team
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to safeguard the hotel, its assets, guests, and employees.
• Monitor security operations and maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, including security plans and emergency response procedures
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems and access control systems, ensuring their functionality and effectiveness.
• Legislative Compliance
• Collaborate with the Front Office/Concierge department to manage the hotel's fleet of vehicles - maintenance, inspections, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements for transportation
• Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff by providing assistance and support during emergency situations
• Collaborate with relevant departments to implement safety measures, safety drills and conduct safety training programs
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV systems and access control systems, ensuring their functionality and effectiveness
• Incident Response and Investigations
• Budget management
