A Hospitality Training Company is looking for a New Sales Assistant to join the sales department and join the team. The assistant will have to be in the office in Nelspruit on Tuesdays and Thursdays so we wouldn’t consider it as a remote based work.

Job Details

➢ Assist Sales Manager to build on existing agent database – Capture and update agent database

➢ Maintain & protect relationships with existing agents - Follow up on to do list for custom group arrivals and deliverables

➢ Secure camp/ educational visits for key clients - consider pre and post trade show dates, planning of the team deliverables

➢ Secure office visits by agents - meet the team, coordinate lunches/ dinners were needed

➢ Register, update and maintenance of new agents (Agent & Ambassador agreements)

➢ Focus agents - gap year, adventure and student travel

➢ Respond to availability requests, enquiries, queries and provide updated information and course/ booking/ camp documents and images (email/ dropbox)

➢ Follow general booking process – create and capture bookings, receipt of booking forms and handing over to admin department as part of managing the Sales and projects dairy

➢ Communicate and follow up with clients about specific projects and their goals as per Sales Manager

➢ Prepare written estimates for clients based on labour, materials, equipment and other expenses for custom development

➢ Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure our delivery on custom requests

➢ Outgoing person that can start a conversation / and engage with people easily

➢ Very detail orientated and structured with excellent admin skills

➢ Someone that is looking to build a career and reputation and not just applying for a job.

➢ Drivers License is a must

➢ High school diploma required

➢ Experience in the tourism industry a plus

➢ Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Dropbox and Google Drive a plus
