Home Loan Pre-Qualification Consultant
Our client, a leading financial services provider, is currently recruiting for a Home Loan Pre-Qualification Consultant. The Home Loan Pre-Qualification Consultant is responsible for screening and pre-qualifying potential buyers in the housing market, ensuring they meet financial and eligibility requirements before being handed over to sales representatives. This role plays a vital part in streamlining the sales process by verifying client information, issuing certificates, and providing detailed reports to management.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Essential: Matric (Grade 12).
- Beneficial: A tertiary qualification in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- Previous experience in real estate, financial services, or mortgage pre-qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of credit assessment processes and buyer financing options is beneficial.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of real estate, mortgage financing, or property sales is advantageous.
- Ability to assess financial documents and determine creditworthiness.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Answer and handle incoming telephone inquiries related to home loan pre-qualification.
- Assess and qualify potential buyers based on set financial and creditworthiness criteria.
- Issue pre-qualification certificates to eligible buyers.
- Liaise with and hand over qualified buyers to the relevant sales representatives.
- Conduct follow-ups with clients to gather additional information or address concerns.
- Compile and submit weekly reports on pre-qualified buyers and conversion rates.
- Maintain and provide accurate statistics on buyer trends and qualification metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding buyer assessments.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to potential buyers.
