Healthcare Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client a top five medical company that has been in operations for over a 100 years, is looking for a people driven Healthcare Manager to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma as a Registered Nurse.
• Registered with SANC.
• K53 Driving Licence.
• Essential Experience:
  • At least 8+ years’ experience in the medial industry.
  •  2 years’ experience in management.
  • 2 years’ experience in clinical nursing.
  • 4 years’ experience in a Senior Supervisory capacity.
• Essential Experience:
  • ERP.
  • Medical Schemes.
  • workflow and HBM systems.
  • CPT-4, ICD-10 and RPL codes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and leadership to ensure the effective functioning of the following divisions:
  • Pre-authorisations
  • Non-disclosures.
  • Systems Development.
• Liaise with decision makers to ensure that protocols are applied correctly.
• Stay abreast of changes in the medical industry.
• Continuous improvement of business processes, e.g., automation of system driven pre-authorisations.
• Liaise with external clients.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts with third-party service providers.
• Ensure delivery of services required by service providers.
• Ensure constant operational efficiency through innovation within areas under control.
• Ensure adherence to all legislative and regulatory prescripts.
• Continuously evaluate operational plans, actions and resources to ensure that objectives are achieved.
• Manage the budget in order to utilise resources effectively and achieve objectives.
