Health and Safety Officer

What you will enjoy doing

• Implement and conduct health and safety program including safety Induction, technical guidance
• maintain appropriate level of awareness to identify and remove hazards and potential risk from the operations’ sites
• implement a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and reduces overall associated risks and costs
• Provide written reports, as well as other HSE related results and updates to the management team
• Investigate and report accidents and take action to eliminate accident causes
• Conduct inspections to identify unhealthy, unsafe acts, conditions, application of work practices, and prepare written reports of inspections with action plan for closure
• Review and develop the risk assessment for jobs inside the plant and ensure the implementation of the risk controls
• Review contractor conditions to ensure that the safety issues are clearly mentioned (safety elements, supervision, risk assessment and controls
• Follow-up the control of wastes, emissions, hazards, and other aspects in accordance with legal and other requirements
• Ensure the implementation of the corrective actions and re-port the non-conformities to management
• Maintain and ensure the implementation and effectiveness of the environmental management system
• Conduct an evaluation and follow up inspection for all plant areas, evaluate the fire risk to identify the suitable fire protection system,
• Cascade and maintain an emergency plan and its procedures and ensure that the emergency team has received proper training and awareness
• Responsible for Quality and Food Safety Management when food contact product is produced in the plant and report any risks identified.
• Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
