SUMMARY:
FACULTY ADMINISTRATOR (FINANCE): EAST LONDON CAMPUS
THREE (3) YEAR CONTRACT
SALARY: 330 270

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the above-mentioned contract post.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Accounting and or Financial Management, or related field (NQF6 /M+3)
5 years’ experience in a senior/controller finance management position

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience working in a Higher Learning Institution
Familiarity with ITS and other ERP system
Preference will be given to candidates with professional body

COMPETENCIES

Certified end-user including Microsoft suite
Budget planning and tracking

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer all grants/ donation and cost centres for the faculty
Support HR processes for the projects.
Preparing of claims, procurement and payment requisitions
Preparation of financial reports including reconciliation of budget and actual
Monthly reconciliation of all General Ledgers
Preparation of Financial Report for the funders
Reconciliation of student Bursaries

All documents should be ready for auditors (internal and external)
Present risks for all cost centres and projects
