POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Nutarian or Food Science or Food Technology or similar
• 8-10 Years experience within a retail, advisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance:

• Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and health goals.
• Provide personalized recommendations based on individual dietary requirements, allergies, and health conditions.
• Offer information on the nutritional content, benefits, and usage of various health foods and supplements.
• Address customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and special orders.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the health food industry.
• Familiarize yourself with the store''s inventory, including organic foods, gluten-free products, vegan options, and dietary supplements.
• Educate customers about the nutritional value and health benefits of different products.
• Conduct research on new products and ingredients to enhance your expertise.

Merchandising and Stock Management:

• Ensure that shelves are properly stocked and organized, with products clearly labelled and displayed attractively.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to maintain sufficient stock.
• Check product expiration dates and remove expired items from the shelves.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to suggest new products or discontinue slow-moving items.

Promotions and Marketing:

• Assist in developing promotional campaigns and marketing strategies to increase sales of health food products.
• Create informative signage, brochures, or digital content highlighting the benefits of specific products.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to organize product demos, sampling events, or workshops.
• Utilize social media platforms and online channels to promote health-conscious initiatives and attract customers.

Customer Education:
