POSITION INFO:

Our client needs a highly analytical and data-savvy individual with commercial skills and a hands-on inclination.

Operationally, you will need to manage the pricing team, as well as deal with external stakeholders for the growing pricing service. You will work closely with several internal functions – data and analytics, acquisitions, and sales and adapt to their needs. The role requires a restless, even obsessive, personality – never happy with the status quo, always looking for ways to improve. It involves a lot of experimentation, system design, and analytic data work at the same time inspiring your team to meet accuracy and efficiency targets.

Duties:

Management of the day-to-day pricing function and team
Monitoring, analysis and reporting
Design of improvements to processes, systems and algorithms
Management of trading stock portfolio
Coordinating with internal + external stakeholders to ensure business targets are achieved

Requirements:

A degree in a quantitative business field (Accounting, Finance, Actuarial, etc)
Five to ten years of experience in a business environment in which you can demonstrate both project/operational experience as well as a high application of mind to analytical problems.
Three years experience in a management/supervisory position.
Demonstrated experience of working closely with data
Hands-on project/operational experience
