SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

To manage and elevate the Bank’s banking operations function and various operational processes and procedures as they relate to the banking operations.
To conduct a high standard of regulatory engagement, internal and external reporting, and ensure full compliance of operations department activities with regulatory requirements, laws and applicable policies and procedures.

To ensure that all Foreign Currency payments are authorized on the GMPS system in accordance with the customer’s instruction and in terms of the Currency and Exchanges Manual.

To ensure that all Rand payments are 100% accurately captured on the Standard Bank and FNB internet payment systems in accordance with the customer’s instruction.

To ensure that all foreign exchange transactions processed in that our client adhere to the terms and conditions of the Currency and Exchanges Manual issued by FinSurv Department SARB and that all transactions are reported via the FinSurv Reporting System (BOP) system on the day of processing the transaction.

Exchange Control: Control of Advance Payments effected:
To ensure that transactions reported as advance payments are followed up and finalized on Import Verification 

To stand in for Senior Manager Trade Finance and Senior Manager Treasury Back Office during their absence

To ensure that all foreign exchange transactions processed in that our client adhere to the terms and conditions of the Currency & Exchanges Manual on a daily basis – Submission of FinSurv Applications to SARB.

To ensure that all of our clients'' systems comply with Finsurv Reporting in term of the Business and Technical Specifications issued by FinSurv SARB.

To verify that all Rand payments routed via SAMOS are 100% accurately captured on the Swift Alliance, Opics and GMPS in accordance with the customer’s instruction and in terms of the IMMS PCH’s standards.
