Head of Academic Operations (JB1331)

Aligned to the Institution’s vision and strategy, the Head of Academic Operations provides academic operational and administrative management and leadership and is accountable for all associated academic planning and administrative tasks in the student value chain which include interalia, registration, calendars, timetables, assessment administration, results and reports, to certification and graduation processes.

Educational requirements:
Hons/Master’s degree
At least 3 years Academic Operational Experience in Higher Education
Experience with Learning Management Systems as a developer or administrator
3-5 years’ experience within a senior management level in higher education
Sound understanding of student value chain in higher education
Academic planning and assessments processes and practices
Experience in dealing with regulatory affairs and academic quality assurance processes with a higher education environment

Indepth knowledge of systems suchs as moodle and ICAS
