Harness Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our client, based in Boksburg is seeking a driven External Sales Representative with Harness Sales experience to interest purchasing agents and buyers in the services or products of their company.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Relevant qualification in Sales and Marketing.

• Essential:
• Knowledge of Car and Truck Harness,
• Wiring of control boxes and panels,
• Coaxial Cable Assemblies,
• Prototype and Custom Assemblies,
• Military Harnesses and Assemblies.
• Minimum 3 years Sales experience in manufacturing of harnesses.
• Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
• Advantageous: SAP.

Main responsibilities:

• Achieving assigned targets and objectives.
• Generating new business through the constant satisfaction of customers.
• Seeking new business with chain accounts and stand alone accounts.
• Management of current established accounts.
• Completing sales reports and customer records and making sure you are on target.
• Customer care including the resolution of concerns.
• Communication of any new products or information.
• Preparation of proposals, contracts and presentations.
• New client presentations.
• Maintenance of established clients and new clients.
• Market event participation.
• Referral follow ups from the Internal Sales Coordinator.
• Reducing stock by special sales implementation.
• Client and product follow ups and quality checks.
• New Sales employee training.
• Weekly feedback on back orders and sales that was lost.
• Weekly call sheets and call planners.

Additional Information:

• A valid drivers license is required as you will be required to drive to local clients.
• Flexible in work hours.
