Customer care

• Follow up and resolve where possible any customer maintenance complaints; escalate any unresolved issues to the Building Manager.

Repairs and maintenance

• Ensure that the properties are well maintained at all times and that all repairs and maintenance carried out are completed within the company’s stipulated turnaround times and that the quality of the work performed is in line with the company’s benchmarks.

• Check the maintenance request book daily and ensure all the repairs are carried out.

• Carry out routine repairs and maintenance where necessary.

Property inspections

• Inspect the entire building and their surrounds on a daily basis to ensure that they are clean and well maintained.  The inspection must include but is not limited to - cleanliness; defects requiring maintenance; fire equipment, fire escapes and fire doors; lift operation; common area lighting; pumps and tanks; security and CCTV; intercom, telephone, dstv and data networks where applicable.

• Report any issues to the Building Manager and follow up until the issues are resolved.

 Service providers

• Liaise with the various service providers and ensure they adhere to the established service level agreements and company protocols.

 Equipment & compliances

• Ensure that all on site equipment is well maintained, serviced and repaired when necessary and complies with the various occupational health and safety regulations.

 General

• Perform any other duties as and when requested by your manager. This includes standing in for the Building Manager in his absence.
