POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Half-Day Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping for our company. This role is ideal for an experienced bookkeeper who is looking for part-time hours while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and capture transactions.

Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

Manage debtors, creditors, and cashbook entries.

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.

Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory requirements.

Assist with payroll preparation if required.

Prepare monthly management reports.

Support the accountant with year-end and audit processes.
Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years’ bookkeeping experience.

Proficiency in Sage accounting software

Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and basic tax compliance.

High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Strong communication skills and professional conduct.
