Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Technician

R 40 000 CTC

George, WC

Leading supplier of high-quality dairy products within the FMCG manufacturer requires a Trade Tested candidate with a minimum of 3 years post apprentice experience to take charge and be involved in maintaining and repairing Industrial Fridges and Aircons throughout 2 plants.

Requirements

Experience on blowers, coolers and repaired compressors
Exposure to both Ammonia and Freon Systems
Gas handling license
Working at Heights Certificate
Certificates / qualifications must be certified with MERSETA
At least 3 years of post-trade experience
Valid Safe Handling of Refrigerant Certificate
Have a clear criminal record and good references
A driver’s license and own transport is required
Minimum of 5 years post apprentice experience

Standby duties in event of breakdowns will form part of this role.
