HSE Supervisor

Our client has an opportunity available for a HSE Supervisor based in Sasolburg.

Requirements:

• Experience managing subcontractors on site.
• Must have previously managed construction projects as HSE.
• Health and Safety qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of the implementation and effectiveness of the site HSE management system.
• Technical consulting of contractor management.
• Elaboration of suggestions for HSE improvement measure with regards to construction and commissioning.
• Inform the site HSE Manager or Engineer about the need of modification of the existing HSE related basic documents.
• Support the site management in the implementation of the project specific HSE Program Site.
• Create, modify or extend project specific HSE Documents if required.
• Conduct inspections of the contractor's temporary site facilities.
• Audit contractors regarding HSE matters if contractually agreed.
• Monitor the use of the required personal protective equipment.
• Suggest disciplinary measures for offences against the HSE regulations.
• Participate actively in site meetings according to project specifications.
