SUMMARY:
Well known Engineering company based in Mooinooi (NW) is searching for a HRD Trainer to support employees with all training materials within the organisation. The successful candidate must be ETDP Certified and have a min of 3 years of experience in Mineral Processing Production as well as experience within a Metallurgical environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Knowledge / Education Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Qualification
  • ETDP Level 3 Certificate
  • Registered Assessor
  • Minerals Processing Skills Programmes Certificates:
    • Ore Reception
    • Water Reticulation
    • Crushing & Screening
    • Milling
    • Dense Medium Separation
    • Floatation
    • Thickening
  • Moderator Qualification will be an added advantage
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
 Experience and requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the Minerals Processing Production Experience.
  • Minimum 5 years HRD Experience in a Metallurgical environment.
  • Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a team leader.
  • Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
 Major tasks of the job:
  • Facilitate Training Interventions to ensure transfer of learning according to lesson plans.
  • Assess candidates for competency against specific outcomes.
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine training gaps.
  • Optimize the learner’s knowledge/skills to improve their performance on the job.
  • Document all training records and maintain training reports.
  • Submit training and assessment documentation for data capturing and record keeping.
  • Review and update learning material and give feedback on learning material revision development.
  • Give input into the design and development of learning material i.e. instructional content, practice requirements, lesson scripts, required lesson aids, course maps and alignment to procedures
  • Coordinate learners on/off the job training.
  • Update all information as and when required based on training completed and maintain the Employee Training files.
  • Conduct skills development administration (attendance registers, learner files, reports, etc.).
  • Preparation of training venues (Equipment, stationary, etc.).
  • ISO non-conformance report.
