POSITION INFO:

Position:                                                       HRD Specialist

Department:                                               Human Resources – Head Office

Reporting to:                                              HR Director

 

Responsibility & Accountability:

 

  • Recruitment and selection of monthly associates, including defining job descriptions, competency profiling, placement of adverts, shortlisting of applicants, interviewing, selection based on scorecard. Preparing contracts and employment packs for submission to Payroll.
  • Onboarding of new associates and completion of orientation checklist.
  • Compiling and administering psychometric batteries and assessment batteries for the purposes of recruitment screening, selection and development.
  • Providing assessment feedback, as well as career and development coaching to enhance career planning and support departmental succession planning.
  • Implementation and support with Talent Management activities according to talent management cycle, including talent identification, attraction, development, career management, transformation, leadership development, and retention.
  • Training and supporting managers on performance management and coaching skills.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and facilitate organisational development training and interventions to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement
  • Generation of mini-surveys and team performance dashboards, feedback and consultation to enhance team dynamics and leadership
  • Implementation of change management initiatives and interventions in support of organisational values and strategy.
  • Oversight and coordination of e-learning facility, data collection and reporting on statistics and trends.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Honours Degree Industrial Psychology / equivalent
  • Registration with HPCSA as psychometrist
  • 3-5 years’ experiencewithin human resources
  • Accreditation on personality, cognitive assessments advantageous
  • Experience in automotive industry is an added advantage
  • Talent Management and organizational development experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (advanced Excel, Power-point) and generating presentations and reports
