SUMMARY:

Our client a reputable multi-national manufacturing company has an opportunity for an experienced HR Payroll Administrator to join their firm in Johannesburg, Roodepoort area.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 5+ Years’ experience in payroll and wages
  • Payroll qualification will be an advantage
  • Processing weekly employees
  • Be able to work under pressure and overtime
  • Computer savvy with strong working knowledge of relevant payroll software. (Sage300 People)
  • Solid knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations including BCEA, PAYE, UIF and SDL
  • Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem solving
  • High degree of honesty and integrity
  • Strong attention to detail and respect for accuracy
  • Accomplished analytical Skills
  • Must be organized, professional and motivated, capable of working well alone or as a member of a team.
  • Working hours: Monday-Friday 08:00 – 17:00 and overtime when needed

 
Duties will include but is not limited to:
  • Loading corrected hours and overtime on the payroll system
  • Maintaining of all Payroll functions (Monthly salaries & weekly wages)
  • Balancing of Payroll Input
  • Compile the payroll monthly reports for the Group Financial Manager to sign off
  • Full payroll report, company reconciliations per payroll, salary recon for payroll, bank account duplication checks, head count report, leave provision report and variance report.
  • Capture leave on the payroll systems
  • Process AOD’s & third-party payments
  • Managing all new starters and terminations on payroll
  • Liaise with medical aid and pension fund administrators to provide an efficient and effective service regarding payment of contributions.
  • Calculate and submit payroll taxes, benefits schemes, and other deductions
  • Manage and process the Interim and Annual IRP5’s.
  • Tax Directive process
  • UIF Monthly declaration submission
  • Process employee advances and paybacks
  • Process and close payrolls
  • Print and issue Payslips
  • Compile and submit the monthly provident fund report to the Financial Director.
  • Filing of Documents
  • EMP201 & EMP501 reconciled and uploaded to SARS
  • e-Filing / Easy file
  • Assist HR Manager with adhoc duties as and when required
  • Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Confirmation of Employment
  • Preparing documents for Audits
  • Completion of STATS SA and submit to HR Manager
  • Dummy Payslip process
  • Ensure all employees files are up to date
