HR Professional (Permanent)

POSITION INFO:

Top Automotive Industry client is seeking a Senior HR Professional to join their Rosslyn Plant. 

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Support the delivery of HR programs and activities in a manner that promotes communication and involvement.
• Ensure the quality, delivery, cost and responsiveness of the HR department.
• Provides employees and managers with an available first point of contact for question and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues.
• Ensure Global HR Policies are implemented in line with all local labour related legislation.
• Advising the business on labour law, collective agreements and other employee related issues.
• Drive plant training and development programme in relation career development.
• Fostering a positive relationship with local union/employee representatives and consult with union officials regarding employee conditions of service.
• Tracking and reporting on HR measurable/Balanced Scored Cards as well as Key Performance Indicators.
• Drives Employee Survey actions, provide professional expertise for supervisors in creating and executing action plans.
• Ensure employee engagement is promoted as result of proper HR programs execution.
• Ensure that effective performance management processes are implemented and carried out at all levels of the organization.
• All other tasks as assigned.

Required Education:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree/diploma with qualification in Human Resources
• At least 2 years of leading a team
• At least 5 years of generalist HR experience
• Manufacturing work experience preferred

Professional Knowledge:

• High energy, self-starter who has the ability to be pro-active, can act independently on own initiative and has the ability to achieve deliverables
• An excellent communicator who is able to positively influence and persuade people at all levels
• Ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels and effectively manage conflict
• Payroll system
• MS Office, Excel, Power Point und Lotus Notes
