HR Practitioner

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, based in Matla / Kriel, Mpumalanga area, is looking to employ an HR Practitioner on a 12 month contract basis. This is an EE role.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric and Bachelors Degree in HR
• Certificate Labour Relations Development Programme
• Certificate First Line Management 
• 5+ years experience in General Human Resources operations, Human Resources systems, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Very strong on SAP (not negotiable)
• Excellent reporting skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with contractors
• Assertive, deadline driven
• Pay attention to detail
• Previous experience in working with contractors on a project in a mining environment desirable and advantageous
• Audit experience

KPAs:

• Ensure Contractor compliance to applicable policies, processes, procedures and applicable statutory laws and regulations
• Administration and Document Control
• Attend to customer requests, complaints, needs and challenges
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure problems have been resolved
• Responsible for quality of SAP HR master data
• Prepare and complete management reports and analysis
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Safety, Health and Environment
  (SHE) policies and procedures in line with set standards
