HR Officer - Payroll Administrator

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

• Education: Grade 12 and a relevant HR and Payroll (SAGE VIP) qualification.
• Technical Skills: Microsoft packages, SAGE VIP
• Driver’s License: Valid Code 8 with reliable transport.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure, with a keen attention to detail and a solid understanding of all aspects of HR and Payroll.
• Location: Durban - Sydney Road
• Preferably a male candidate due to the nature of the businesses and responsibilities of this role.
• Must have a clear criminal record.

• Maintain and update Employee filing system which ensures documentation is easily accessible
• Assist with wage and salary-related ad-hoc projects
• Wage and salary hours captured on SAGE VIP timeously to meet deadlines
• Contract administration for fixed term employees
• Resolving employee queries regarding administrative payroll matters.
• Monthly reporting to Management on staff movements, absenteeism’s and leave cost accruals
• Working in conjunction with HR Manager and Finance staff to ensure all payroll-related issues are resolved in a timely manner
