HR Officer

POSITION INFO:

This position reports to: HR Executive

Main Responsibilities

• Facilitates the process of recruitment of staff through development of role profiles, preparation of advertisements, maintaining constant communication, preparation of short listed candidates, setting up and coordination of interviews, conducting verification checks, facilitating employment offers and onboarding of the new employees.
• Ensure that the new employees are signed-on, on their first day of reporting
• Responsible for ensuring that all new employees undergo a full induction within their respective departments and other related departments, and ensure that induction checklists are fully authorised and kept on personal files
• Responsible for the company wide communication with staff on all HR issues affecting employees through the compilation and distribution of HR newsletter (HR Interface) on a monthly basis. 
• Maintain an accurate and easily accessible record of all Employment Requisitions, HR Process Maps and any other document driving the role.
• Compile Monthly Reports
• Assist  the HR Manager with grievances and disciplinary enquiries
• Ad – Hoc projects

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma or B Degree in Human Resources
• 3 – 5 Years’ experience in HR Environment
• Exposure to a highly unionised environment
