SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Human Resource Manager for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 with Diploma or Degree in Human Resources
Payroll certification preferred
3+ years’ experience in people management and conflict resolution
3+ years’ experience in business & office management
Compilation of EE reports and plans and compliance to all SA Labour Law
Exposure in maintaining good working relationships between staff
Full computer literate – MS Office
Valid driver’s license and understanding of all Labour relevant acts
Good communication skills and sense of urgency
Exposure to Pastel & Payroll processing advantageous
Due to the Equity requirements, an EE candidate is sought

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Interviewing and recruitment of staff
Promote healthy work environment for staff and management
Handle labour disputes and remedy issues
Compiling EE plans and doing reporting
Ensure compliance with SA Labour Law
Maintain good working relationships between staff
Report on HR costs and current / future recruitment needs
Develop and initiate training and orientation plans for staff
Stay up to date with labour legislation
Actively involved with payroll and support to finance for monthly payroll runs
Manage HR audits for projects and support to all project staff regarding HR

Salary: R30 000.00 per month (negotiable)

Starting date: Ideally 1st August
