5 - 10 years related HR experience In an Engineering/electronic environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Labour Relations/Labour Law or Human Resources

• Computer Literate

• Valid SA Driver’s License

Experience:

• 5 - 10 years related HR experience In an Engineering/electronic environment

• In-depth knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EE, CCMA, and wage negotiations

• Accuracy and attention to details

• Independent thinker and solutions-driven

• Pro-active, assertive, deadline-driven and the ability to function in a stressful environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strategize, advise, provide guidance, facilitate and responsible for matters relating to HR/IR.

• Coordinate and facilitate disciplinary and grievance hearings.

• Develop, Implement, evaluate and Improve EE Plan for the Company.

• Identify training needs, develop, Implement, evaluate, submit and Improve WSP for the Company.

• Facilitate career management and succession plan.

• Ensure disciplinary code Is Implemented fairly.

• Represent Company at CCMA and Labour Court, when required.

• Ensure that grievances and disciplinary hearing are held in terms of the company policy & keep up to date records of all disciplinary hearing and grievance records.

• Must be familiar with sound recruitment practices and must be able to network with consultants in order to get the best available candidates especially in the electronic Industry.

• Facilitate and manage all procedures relating to employee onboarding, Induction and termination of employees.

• Support payroll team by collating Information timeously.

• Maintain and prepare daily/weekly and monthly reports.

• Provide training and information to Line managers and employee on all IR and /or labour related matters.

• Attend to day-to-day HR Matters.

• Ensure compliance with EE/WSP related matters.

• Ensure that HR/IR Related Company Policies and Procedures are up to date and compliant with current legislation and case law.

• Monitor all internal labour related trends and submit relevant reports to the business.

• Facilitate regular meetings between management and organised labour and other relevant stakeholders.

• Liaise with medical aid/provident fund service providers & Managing all HR department subordinates.

• Arrange Employee Wellness Events I.e., HIV/Aids awareness day, COVID awareness programmes, etc.

• Build and maintain professional union relationships.

• Implement and maintain an effective admin system

• Ensure employee files and records are up to date at all times.
