HR Generalist

SUMMARY:
Professional Aviation Services Pty Ltd is a progressive hybrid with interest in the Aviation & Supply Chain Industries. We require an HR Generalist to join the team and contribute to the continued growth and success of this established concern

POSITION INFO:

The HR Generalist will support a staff complement of approximately 1000 employees of which comprises white-collar as well as blue-collar employees. A reasonable amount of travel is required, and HR plays an integral part in decision-making.

Key to this position will be the following but will not be limited to these:

• Business Support
• Industrial Relations
• Talent and Performance Management
• Talent Development and Compensation
• People Strategy and Implementation of such
• Employee and Industrial Relations Strategy and implementation
• Develop, lead and manage Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Strategy.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing, negotiation skills, customer relationship management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to timeously and effectively collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to remain objective when faced with challenging situations.
• Takes initiative to resolve problems with creative solutions.

Minimum requirements for this position will include.

• Relevant tertiary qualification with at least 5-7 years experience as an HR Generalist/ HR Manager
• High level of communication skills (both verbal and written English is a must)
• High level of credibility in the HR field with buy-in from customers
• Experience and knowledge of compliance
• Experience in coordinating Employment Equity Committee activities
• Clear Criminal Record
