HR Coordinator

Introduction

My client, one of the top five legal firms in South Africa invites eligible candidates to apply for the role of HR Co-ordinator which has just become available in their HR Department.  Should you be the successful incumbent you  will be assisting the Grad Recruitment Manager hence you will be responsible for  the day to day operational HR management and administration of the firm’s candidate attorney (CA) portfolio across the HR value chain. This includes planning and managing the implementation and logistics of CA onboarding, induction initiatives; CA rotations; CA learning and development programmes, board exams and other admission requirements; the CA performance management process in conjunction with the Graduate Recruitment Specialist and HR Managers. Working closely with the HR Managers on the final appointment and placement of CAs to Associate level.

Purpose of the Role _________________________________________________________________________________________

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the HR team in the development and delivery of the end-to-end transactional HR solutions for the business unit portfolios within the firm.

Education/Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 - Essential
  • SABPP - South African Board for People Practices HRP - Human Resource Professional – Preferred
  • Up to 4 years’ experience in the Legal sector
  • HR Administration - Essential
  • Employment Equity - Essential
  • Remuneration Operational execution Essential
  • Industrial Relations Consulting / Advisory Preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Some of the key projects you will work on will include but not limited to:

 

  • Campus Recruitment
  • Candidate Attorney Programme and Scholarships applications management
  • Winter Vacation Programme
  • Coordination of PVT contract registrations and contract cessions
  • Coordination of Board Exam registrations
  • General HR administrations – includes Workday updates
  • Coordination of Rotations, Performance Reviews, Check-ins and Retention process

 

Salary and Remuneration

320K – 420K
