SUMMARY:
To provide input and facilitate the implementation of the Human Resources Strategy in order to provide streamlined, user-orientated and value-adding service to assigned departments. Implement Human Resources Best Practice and continuous improvement regarding the delivery of an excellent and effective customer service.
POSITION INFO:
Duties and responsibilities
Manage the recruitment and placement process
Implement career and succession management plans for the respective departments
Human Resources Development
Facilitate and implement change management interventions
Ensure employee well being
Implement and facilitate performance management systems
Provide input in the development of an industrial relations strategy and ensure implementation
Identify training needs and interventions
Management of Employment Equity and report
Compile and communicate monthly reports to management
Minimum requirements
Minimum of 8 years'' experience in Human Resources especially in a Mining and unionized environment
At least 5 years in a "HR generalist" role
4 four years in supervisory role
Relevant legislations e.g.: BCEA, EEA, SDA, SLA I-JIF, WCA, LRA, SARS legislations. IR Training, Recruitment & Selection
Completed HR qualification
