SUMMARY:
Support and contribute to the overall achievement of the strategic goals of the HR Dept in accordance with Company policies. Manage the talent acquisition process from start to finish advising and supporting services in terms of IR, deliver high quality HR products, projects and HR Administration

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is ideal for a dynamic HR individual that can assist the HR Manager with full support as a business partner.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in HR Management / Industrial Psychology
  • 3 years relevant HR Management experience within a Manufacturing/FMCG environment
  • Good understanding of CCMA / Barganing Council processes
  • Own transport and valid drivers license

Key Performance:

Talent Acquisition: Recruitment / On-boarding / Exits  

  • Recruitment Practices comply with BCEA/LRA/EE
  • Entire Recruitment and Selection process
  • Interviews / Tests / assignments / psychometric tools
  • background checks
  • Offer letters
  • On-boarding and induction process
  • Exit interviews

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to both employees and management
  • First line advice to managers on any human capital-related activities
  • Regular site visits
  • Assist staff with personal/private & confidential issues as and when required
  • Performance appraisal process

Industrial Relations:

  • Ensure sound employment practices and legal compliance is adhered to at all times
  • Act as first line advisor to management and employees in terms of all disciplinary, grievance and sexual harassment matters
  • IR related issues
  • IR policies and procedures effective implementation

Administration and reporting:

  • Ensure all HR reports are accurate, updated and maintained on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Personnel files up to date
  • Audit employee files and filing
  • Absenteeism reports

HR Projects:

  • To assist with various HR projects/surveys as and when required
  • Assist with ad hoc assignments as and when needed.
