SUMMARY:

We are seeking an HR Administrator / Wages Clerk for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern  Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
  • Grade 12 with Payroll / HR qualification; finance experience advantageous
  • 6+ years relevant HR / Wages experience (manufacturing industry preferable)
  • Working experience on an HR / Wage system and clocking system.  VIP payroll system experience non-negotiable.
 
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
 
  • Leave admin / maintenance and updating employee files and HR records
  • Coordinate training and assist with skills development
  • Meetings of meetings and job description preparation
  • Coordinate recruitment process and induction of staff
  • Company guidance regarding employment equity, as well as leading EE meetings and ensure compliance
  • MERSETA control / duties including grant applications and reports
  • Handle weekly and monthly payroll function
  • Calculate and enter data, print payslips, reporting and handle payroll queries
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and process third party deductions – control of garnishees and admin orders
  • Capture leave and compile Stats SA information
  • Maintain clocking systems, retrieve and process clocking times
  • Updating / processing MIBCO & MEIBC forecasts and returns
  • Compile wage journals and accruals
  • Work extended hours when required
  • Maintain good housekeeping
 
Salary:  R27 000.00 per month CTC
