POSITION INFO:

Duties:

 

  • RECRUITMENT
    • Check approved organogram, approved vacancies, EE plan requirements, qualifications and experience required and budget availability for the position
    • Arrange interviews with suitable candidates meeting minimum requirements
    • Reference checks for shortlisted 3 candidates
    • Draft and issue offer of Employment, with legal input if required
    • Draft Employment Agreement
    • Preparation of induction pack
    • Orientation of new appointees including introduction to staff, policies and procedures
    • Appointment of temporary staff when needed and administration thereof
    • Receipt, acknowledgement of receipt and perusal of CV’s sent to firm
    • Ensure all CVs received filed and communicated appropriately

 

  • HR MANAGEMENT
    • Maintain updated staff files
    • Maintain updated comprehensive staff lists
    • Updating company-pager CVs regularly
    • Issue confirmation of employment letters
    • Internal operational queries and problem solving
    • Communicate internal operational changes and /or requests to all and follow up
    • Day to day queries regarding policies and procedures
    • Draft, Implement, review and update policies and procedures
    • Conduct exit interview’s for purposes of bringing HR Com up to date with cases that may warrant intervention by the firm.

  • PAYROLL
    • Process payroll input monthly
    • Process payroll payments

 

  • RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
    • Act as a go-to HR representative for all staff, be approachable, build trust relationships
    • Enhance staff wellness and contribute to a positive office / work culture
