SUMMARY:
HR & Payroll Administrator- Pietermaritzburg

POSITION INFO:
An established business with its Head Office in Pietermaritzburg (and branches elsewhere in South Africa), currently requires a suitably experienced HR and Payroll Administrator.

The incumbent will be required to manage the following:

Payroll (salaries and wages) for around 70 staff members
Monthly statutory payments
Employee benefits administration (medical aid and provident fund)
All other HR duties (maintaining leave records, disciplinary procedures, employment equity, filing etc.)
Overseeing debtors and creditors (monitoring the age analysis and checking the creditors before payments are released)

Requirements:

Matric (a relevant post-Matric qualification is preferred)
At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR / Bookkeeping role
Computer literate and confident working with Pastel and Excel
Comfortable capturing and processing a similar sized payroll, including both salaries and wages on Pastel Payroll
Experience with employee benefits administration
Overseas payment experience would be a bonus
Candidate would ideally also be IT savvy
