SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a well-known lodge and conference centre situated along the West Coast, has a unique investment proposal.  Their continued growth and expansion have resulted in the need for a restructure in order to better manage their overall offering. The new business model will see the accommodation offering splitting from the catering facilities with the intent to outsource those catering facilities to an independent management entity. 

They are searching for an independent management entity / individual or HOSPITALITY PARTNER to take over full control of the catering business, to be managed as a complete separate entity.

Investment proposal

• The facility is currently in full operation and will be handed over to the new entity, allowing for immediate revenue income.
• The incumbent will be responsible for all expenses and procurement processes from commencement date.
• The lodges’ existing inhouse trade, underpins the new operation and therefor allows for expansion into new revenue streams.
• Full wedding 2021 wedding calendar in place.
• The existing staff component currently consists of: 5 demi chefs, 2 cleaners, 1 function & conference coordinator, 1 restaurant manager, 1 restaurant supervisor and 4 waiters.
• The new entity’s business will be subject to a lease agreement for the facilities detailed below and will consist of a rental based on a percentage of turnover in order to aid with the cash flow of the new entity.

Please note that this is NOT a salaried position and is NOT suitable for individuals who are looking for a managerial position. It will be expected of the incumbent to take full responsibility for the business unit in its entirety with the individual being compensated from profits made on the back of existing turnover and the incumbents’ own endeavours.
