Main purpose of the job

Gijima HCM Staffing Services division is looking for an energetic, ambitious and driven Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Gauteng. 

The individual will be responsible to assist with recruitment and sourcing for Gijima HCM Staffing Services clients.

Description of responsibilities

• Proactively build a candidate database on the market, by sourcing and recruiting technically skilled candidates in demographically isolated areas
• Account management of allocated client accounts
• Growth and farming of allocated client accounts
• Monthly financial forecasting
• Build up database to support clients’ needs
• Compile adverts and effective screening of response
• Networking to ensure strong database of skills
• Conduct detailed competency-based interviews and references on applicants
• Establish long-term relationships with candidates
• Review and understand technical job requirements
• Achieve weekly and monthly set targets
• Ensure that candidates attending interviews with clients are prepared prior to interview
• Format CV’s accordingly to meet client expectations
• Process verification checks
• Negotiate offers

Qualifications and experience required

• APSO registration will be an advantage
• Matric and relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
• 5 + years Recruitment and Selection experience with 3 years’ specific focus on recruiting candidates with IT skills.
• Proven track record of relevant placements made
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and candidates
• Ability to match skills according to client needs within the required time frame
• Deadline driven and willing to work under extreme pressure
• Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Strong approach to administrative tasks; ie. Monthly, Weekly reporting
• ICT internal recruitment and talent sourcing experience will be an advantage
• Experience in developing and coordinating tender responses will be an advantage
• Ability to manage specific client accounts as Account manager
