Our client is looking to significantly expand and optimise its main e-commerce website to support commercial online growth. The role offers long-term growth potential, with the opportunity to contribute strategically rather than simply maintain an existing platform.
The Role: Growth-focused E-commerce Specialist
This role is focused on designing, optimising, and scaling the company’s main website. The successful candidate will lead strategic discussions, recommend growth initiatives, and execute technical and design-led projects across the platform. There may also be scope to build an internal educational portal for retail staff across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring proven experience successfully scaling online platforms, not only maintaining them.
- Lead strategic e-commerce growth discussions and recommend practical expansion initiatives.
- Optimise the main website to improve user experience, functionality, and commercial performance.
- Execute technical and design projects across WooCommerce and Elementor.
- Work with APIs, filters, attributes, and technical infrastructure to improve platform capability.
- Apply a strong UI/UX design eye to enhance customer journeys and site presentation.
- Support the possible development of an internal educational portal for retail staff.
- Operate proactively and independently, with a strong focus on long-term growth.
About You
- Strong WooCommerce and Elementor experience is non-negotiable.
- Proven track record of scaling e-commerce or online platforms.
- Robust understanding of technical infrastructure, including APIs, filters, and attributes.
- Strong UI/UX design ability.
- Highly proactive, strategic, and commercially growth-focused.
- Comfortable working approximately 9am–6pm UK time, with flexibility for the right candidate.
- Able to present a practical portfolio demonstrating concrete outcomes from previous projects.
- Shopify-only candidates will not be considered.
