Group Vehicle Technician - Pretoria - Gauteng 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-known Motor Dealership in Pretoria, is looking for a Group Vehicle Technician to join their service department.

Requirements:
  • Must be a qualified Vehicle Technician
  • Minimum of 5 years post apprentice experience in the Motor Industry
  • Highly competent with computer systems
  • Own transport & own quality tools
  • Mechanical & Electrical skills
  • Good Communication
  • Strong information technology background
  • Highly IT Competent
  • Mechanical and Electrical skills
Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing of all vehicles booked into the dealership
  • Diagnose and report findings accurately
  • Maintain and update on diagnostic tools
  • Request relevant and correct parts from parts sales executive
  • Notify management of any service related issues
  • Contacting clients and scheduling bookings of vehicles
  • Checking in of customers and follow ups with clients
  • Update job cards, ensuring that it contains accurate information and detailed information on the service/repairs
  • Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
  • Ability to plan production
  • Maintaining good communication at head office and with customers
  • Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
  • After Service Follow ups
  • Understanding of costing of job cards
