Group Vehicle Technician - Pretoria - Gauteng

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-known Motor Dealership in Pretoria, is looking for a Group Vehicle Technician to join their service department.

Requirements:

Must be a qualified Vehicle Technician
Minimum of 5 years post apprentice experience in the Motor Industry
Highly competent with computer systems
Own transport & own quality tools
Mechanical & Electrical skills
Good Communication
Strong information technology background
Highly IT Competent
Mechanical and Electrical skills

Responsibilities:

Servicing and repairing of all vehicles booked into the dealership
Diagnose and report findings accurately
Maintain and update on diagnostic tools
Request relevant and correct parts from parts sales executive
Notify management of any service related issues
Contacting clients and scheduling bookings of vehicles
Checking in of customers and follow ups with clients
Update job cards, ensuring that it contains accurate information and detailed information on the service/repairs
Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
Ability to plan production
Maintaining good communication at head office and with customers
Plan and order parts required in advance as per vehicle identification
After Service Follow ups
Understanding of costing of job cards
