A market leader in gases and welding is looking for an ambitious and confident accounting professional to join their team as a Group Reporting and Consolidations Accountant.

A market leader in gases and welding is looking for an ambitious and confident accounting professional to join their team as a Group Reporting and Consolidations Accountant.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Group Reporting and Consolidations Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of monthly reporting packs and the monthly complex consolidation journals. The Group Reporting and Consolidations Accountant will also be responsible for completing the monthly intercompany confirmations, annual financial statements, and processing journals. The Group Reporting and Consolidations Accountant will also be responsible for the submission of annual budgets.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Accounting
Completed SAICA articles
Big 4 audit article experience is preferred

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 2 years post article experience in a similar role
Experience with complex consolidations and US GAAP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Experience with SOX and IFRS
Confident and assertive
