SUMMARY:

Our fast-growing client with reach into Africa is looking for a SAIPA or CIMA-qualified accountant to take on the role of Group Accountant at their Head Office. If you are looking to grow your career and move into the Financial services sector, this is the role for you!

POSITION INFO:

Monthly processing of accounting transactions
Management of supplier payments
Intercompany billing and management of customer ledger
Prepare monthly intercompany loan schedules
Maintain fixed asset register
Update Income tax and deferred tax computations
Monthly balance sheet recons
Prepare monthly management accounts
Monthly cashflow forecasts
Prepare annual budget
Support accountants in subsidiaries
Maintain accounting records in accordance with IFRS
Monthly VAT201, EMP201 and bi-annual EMP501 returns
Preparation external audit documents
Prepare notes for Annual Financial Statements
Assist with internal audit queries

Skills & Experience:
Completed SAIPA articles or CIMA
Commercial post article experience preferred
Working knowledge of IFRS
Strong Excel skills

Qualification:
Bcom Finance or similar
Completed SAIPA articles OR CIMA Qualification
