Graphic Designer (Fashion)

SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join a busy and vibey Clothing company based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keeping up to date with current fashion and design trends and techniques in the marketplace.
• Interpreting trends and design direction to design and develop graphics and artworks.
• Designing and producing graphic artworks/logos/packaging/etc for branded fashion merchandise.
• Partnering with Designers to ensure cohesive ranges and branding for the company brands.
• Ensuring attention to detail for sizing, colorways, and placement of logos and prints.
• Checking and signing off on design submissions.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate and relevant graphic/fashion design qualification.
• Excellent proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Relevant work experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• An eye for fashion an design trends.
• Organised and meticulous, with excellent attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of design-related product costs and impact of design.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver against tight deadlines.
• Experience dealing with brands will be advantageous.
• Portfolio available to view.
