SUMMARY:
Local clothing manufacturer is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join their busy and dynamic CMT operation, based in Pinetown.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric certificate and relevant graphic/fashion design qualification.
Excellent proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Relevant work experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
An eye for fashion and design trends.
Organised and meticulous, with excellent attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of design-related product costs and impact of design.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver against tight deadlines.
Experience dealing with brands will be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Keeping up to date with current fashion and design trends and techniques in the marketplace.
Interpreting trends and design direction to design and develop graphics and artworks.
Designing and producing graphic artworks/logos/packaging/etc for branded fashion merchandise.
Ensuring attention to detail for sizing, colorways, and placement of logos and prints.
Checking and signing off on design submissions.
