Graphic Design Manager

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Graphic Design Manager for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Matric with relevant tertiary Graphic Design qualification and 3-5 years graphic design experience including staff management
• Computer literate – MS Office, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
• Strong aesthetic skills and fluency in English
• Portfolio of completed design projects required for application

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Create original artwork as required by client briefs and collaborate with design team
• Quality control of briefs
• Manage distribution and production of project workload
• Manage client expectations
• Collective actionable feedback on designs
• Ensure design software subscriptions are renewed annually
• Set up and implement production processes and technical standards for design projects\
• Conduct meetings
• Implement brand guidelines where appropriate
• Overseeing Junior Designer’s artwork
• Proofreading and preparing design to be sent to print
• Client communication

Salary:  R28 000.00 per month + Provident Fund
