Requirements:

  • Essential: A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing/Multimedia/ journalism or any related fields
  • Must be fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of the content industry in Francophone Africa
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist Francophone Editorial team
  • Origination of ideas for channels, stories and other content work
  • Creation and monitoring of content for learnings and self-correction
  • Translation of content for increased relevance, topical and seasonal opportunities
  • Research into trends, content offerings and partners in Francophone African to ensure product is up to date and engaging
  • Passionate about Africa and African content, from education to music to gaming
