Graden A Controller (Security - Zimbali Estate)

SUMMARY:
The Grade A Controller will report to the Key Accounts Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

The Grade A Controller will report to the Key Accounts Manager. The primary responsibility of the Grade A Controller is to ensure an efficient operation of the Control Room.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enforce the Company’s ‘Code of Conduct’
• Ensure that the Control Room is fully operational and efficient
• Handle and resolve Staff and Client Complaints
• Carry out duties and tasks as per the Site Job Description
• Ensure that the primary function of the Control Room is always upheld
• Must be able to multi-task from C.C.T.V. monitoring position to answering telephone calls in the Control Room and issuing access reference numbers
• Access Control Procedures to be followed
• Responsible for C.C.T.V Investigations regarding various Estate Transgressions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PSIRA Grade A Registered
• Matric Certified
• Solid Computer Proficiency
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Security Industry
• 3 to 5 years of Control Room/C.C.T.V. Experience/ Call centre experience
• Estate Security background will be advantageous
• Electronic Equipment experience will be advantageous
• First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and Safety REP training will be advantageous
• Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
