Grade B Security Officer - TSH

SUMMARY:
The Grade B Security Officer will be reporting to the Contracts Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

The Grade B Security Officer will be reporting to the Contracts Manager. The primary responsibility of the Grade B Security Officer is to ensure effective and efficient security operations of the Site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enforce the Company Disciplinary ‘Code of Conduct’
• Ensure an efficient and effective day-to-day supervision of Security Personnel
• Assist with on-site training of Security Personnel
• Provide administrative support to Management
• Ensure effective and efficient rostering of Security Personnel
• Investigate on-site allegations and report on findings accordingly
• Liaising with the Client regarding security issues
• Ensuring accuracy in weight recording at Weighbridge.
• Verifying weight discrepancies, makes follow up and keep record

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PSIRA Grade B Registered
• Matric Certified
• 5 years of experience in the Security Industry
• 5 years of experience in Site Patrolling
• Valid Driver’s License
• 2 – 5 years of experience with Weighbridge Systems
• 3 to 5 years of previous Supervisory experience
