SUMMARY:
The Controller will report to the Key Accounts Manager. The primary responsibility of the Controller
POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enforce the Company’s ‘Code of Conduct’
• Ensure that the Command Centre is fully operational and efficient
• Handle and resolve Staff and Client Complaints
• Carry out duties and tasks as per the Site Job Description
• Ensure that the primary function of the Command Centre is always upheld
• Must be able to multi-task from C.C.T.V. monitoring position to answering telephone calls in the Command
Centre and issuing access reference numbers
• Access Control Procedures to be followed
• Report Writing
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• PSIRA Grade B Registered
• Matric Certified
• Solid Computer Proficiency
• Firearm Competency (Handgun and Shotgun)
• Electronic Alarm Monitoring (MKMMS or similar) is mandatory
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Security Industry
• 3 to 5 years of Control Room/C.C.T.V. Experience/ Call centre experience
• Knowledge of Electronic Equipment
• First Aid, Fire Fighting, Health and Safety training will be advantageous
• Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
